Breathitt VolleyCats Win the East Kentucky Mountain Classic

VolleyCats go 4-0 on the day to win Tourney

The Breathitt County VolleyCats put in an undefeated day to take the championship of the East Kentucky Mountain Classic in Hazard.

Breathitt opened the day by defeating Perry Central 2-0 (25-10, 25-4).

Breathitt then defeated Lee in straight sets 2-0 (25-10, 25-9).

Breathitt then took on McCreary Central in a good match that went three sets. McCreary took the first set, but the VolleyCats came back to take the final two for the 2-1 win. (20-25, 25-15, 15-9).

The ladies closed out the day by defeating June Buchanan in straight sets 2-0 (25-13, 25-22).

By going undefeated, the VolleyCats were the Champions!!

Breathitt travels back to Perry Central on Monday to take on the Lady Commodores again, as the regular season winds down toward the 55th District Tournament on October 21st.
