EKU’S SALLEE EARNS ALL-OVC GOLF HONORS, LINDWALL ON ALL-NEWCOMER TEAM

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – Eastern Kentucky University sophomore Will Sallee was chosen to the All-Ohio Valley Conference men’s golf team and freshman Erik Lindwall earned a spot on the OVC All-Newcomer team, the league announced tonight at its annual awards banquet at the 2016 OVC Championship.

This season, Sallee leads the team with a 73.52 stroke average.  In 10 events the Lexington, Kentucky native has finished in the top-10 three times.  Sallee has the 13th best stroke average in the OVC. 

 

Lindwall, a Soderkoping, Sweden native, is second on the team with a stroke average of 74.65.
