Lady Engineers win every quarter for 28 point win

JACKSON – January 30, 2021 – Brendon D. Miller

Coach Rugh Hughes and her Lady Engineers visited the Hill and J.B. Goff Gymnasium on Friday evening for a 14th Region matchup. Estill took control of the game in the first quarter, out-scoring the Lady Tigers 22-7. The Lady Engineers continued ton increase their lead throughot the game and finished off the win, 73-45.

1st QUARTER
Haley Angel was the story for the Lady Engineers on the night and she started her night with nine in the first quarter. Jayci Long had five and Mia Hale. BreAnna Tincher scored all seven of the Lady Tiger points

2nd QUARTER
Hale knocked down a 3-pointer and had seven, while Long and Angel each added six. Tincher scored 10 for the Lady Tigers and Riley Turner had five and Brianna Kayatin had all four of her points on the night. At the half, Estill was in front 41-24.

3rd QUARTER
Sarah Baker stepped up for the Lady Engineers with six in the period wtih Brittany Mason and Angel both netting four. Tincher had seven.

4th QUARTER
Estill closed out the game with six from Hale and Angel added four for her team-high 23. Tincher had five to finishe with a game-high 27.
