Wildcats look to engage with fans, again will be holding youth drills for 2020
LEXINGTON, Ky. –The Kentucky baseball and softball teams will be holding the fourth annual Fan Day on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 9:30am – Noon ET at the Nutter Field House in Lexington.
There will be a free demonstration of youth drills to all first through sixth graders, with registration beginning immediately. The drills, which filled up to capacity last year, will be open to the first 600 registrants. The drills will be operated by both Nick Mingione and Rachel Lawson in addition to all baseball and softball players.
Mingione and Lawson will then address the Big Blue Nation, giving insight into their programs for the 2020 season and a preview of what fans can expect to see at Kentucky Proud Park and John Cropp Stadium this season.
Following the conclusion of the clinic and addresses to the crowd from the coaches, everyone in attendance will then get time to take pictures with and get autographs from baseball and softball players on the active roster.
Season tickets will also be available for purchase for both sports, in addition to concessions. There will be photo booth opportunities all throughout the event, radar gun activities and more.
