Lottery process complete; premium single-game floor, courtside seats available

LEXINGTON, Ky. – With the second-ranked Kentucky Wildcats soon to open the 2019-20 season, season tickets in Rupp Arena are sold out.

Season tickets were first available to all season ticket holders from 2018-19 and later through a lottery process. Through the lottery process, more than 1,700 new season tickets were purchased, most in the newly renovated upper level featuring chair-back seating along both sidelines.

Limited premium single-game floor and courtside seating remains available. Interested fans should contact the K Fund for availability and pricing by phone at (859) 257-6300 or by email at [email protected].

Single-game tickets are now available for UK’s first nine home games starting at $30 apiece. Tickets are available exclusively online at Ticketmaster.com or through the Ticketmaster app. A second on-sale date for single-game tickets, this one for all Southeastern Conference games and the matchup with Louisville, is set for Nov. 14 at 5 p.m.

Group tickets remain a great way to provide entertainment for clients and businesses, team-building activities, employee appreciation outings, birthdays, youth teams, school groups, and civic organizations. To learn more about purchasing group tickets, email [email protected] or contact the UK Sales Office at (800) 928-2287 (Option 1). Complete information and benefits can be found at UKathletics.com/groups.

UK Athletics is proud to offer specially priced tickets to military and first responders for all 20 men’s basketball games at Rupp Arena this season. Tickets will be available through a partnership with GovX by visiting UKathletics.com/GovX, while supplies last. Military verified through GovX are eligible to purchase. These offers are exclusively available online in advance of game day.

With the sellout of season tickets, inventory for single-game and group sales may be limited to unclaimed student seats.

UK Athletics urges fans to use caution against counterfeit tickets. Kentucky has partnered with Ticketmaster to bring fans a 100% verified resale marketplace, authorized by UK Athletics. Ticketmaster’s resale marketplace is completely integrated with UK Athletics’ ticketing system and uses barcode verification technology to ensure the authenticity of all tickets. As the official fan-to-fan marketplace of Big Blue Nation, Ticketmaster provides fans with reliable and convenient access to purchase verified resale tickets. After defeating Georgetown College this weekend, UK has one exhibition remaining before tipping off the regular season in the State Farm Champions Classic on Nov. 5. The Cats will face off against Michigan State in a matchup of the nation’s preseason No. 1 and No. 2 teams.

Kentucky is coming off a 30-7 season that culminated in a trip to the Elite Eight, the Wildcats’ seventh under head coach John Calipari. Those seven appearances lead the country over the last 10 seasons.

The Wildcats are again expected to be among the teams challenging for a national title. The Wildcats welcome back a solid core of returners led by sophomore guards Ashton Hagans (7.7 points per game and 160 total assists in 2018-19) and Immanuel Quickley (30 3-pointers), junior forward Nick Richards (74 career games), and sophomore forward EJ Montgomery (3.8 points, 4.1 rebounds in 2018-19).

To replace the losses of first-round NBA Draft picks PJ Washington, Tyler Herro and Keldon Johnson, plus Reid Travis, who signed a professional contract in the German Basketball Bundesliga, Calipari has brought in another top-ranked recruiting class that features six freshmen – five of them considered consensus four- or five-star prospects – plus graduate transfer Nate Sestina.
