Wolfe Defeats Jackson 72-39 for District crown

Wolfe cruised to the District title on the strength of early defense as they jumped out to a 19-3 lead in the 1st quarter. Wolfe outscored Jackson in each quarter of the game.
Wolfe received the usual excellent shift from Hailey Smith who scored 20, and a big game from Brianna Colwell who put in 19.
Wolfe County out scored their opponents 134-63 in the two games of the 55th District Tournament.

NEXT:
Both teams advance to the 14th Region Tournament beginning on Monday at Letcher Central High School. The Draw is Friday. Wolfe County will play either Estill County, Leslie County or Knott Central. Jackson will play either Letcher Central, Hazard, or Owsley County.
