Square Changing Number to 5

DeAndre Square is changing numbers again this season for the third time in his Kentucky career.

The junior inside linebacker is changing from No. 17 to No. 5 this season. Square wore No. 43 in his freshman season at Kentucky before changing to No. 17 as a sophomore.

“Lol this is the last switch I promise BBN,” Square wrote on social media.

Square is multi-talented and a stalwart in the middle of the CAT D with Chris Oats.

Number 5 was vacated with the transfer of Xavier Peters.
