Wolfe County High School Archery Wins Championship

Wolfe County Wolves

Wolfe County Wolves

Congratulations to the Wolfe County High School Archery Team on winning the KHSAA Region 10 Championship on Saturday.  WCHS Junior Cody Rose was also the Individual Regional Champion.  The team will now move on to the KHSAA State Tournament in April at the KBA in Lexington.  The team and Cody both will enter that event as legitimate contenders for state titles.

Coaches Jonathan Mayabb and Glenn Thompson have worked extremely hard in building this program.  The team is competing in only its second season and as you can see in the results listed below, they defeated many large schools in East Ky.

The team and coaches are to be commended for representing our school and community in such a positive manner!!!

We wish them good luck in the State Tournament!!!!
