No. 9 Kentucky rolled past Eastern Illinois 99-53 on Friday night. UK led for 39:30 of the game, while never trailing.

- It was the first matchup between the two schools in men’s basketball.
- Collin Chandler was named the MVP of the BBN United Tipoff Classic. He averaged 11.0 PPG, 3.0 RPG, and 4.0 APG, while going 9-of-17 from 3-PT range.
- With the win, UK is the champion of the BBN United Tipoff Classic with a 3-0 record.
- Mouhamed Dioubate led all players with 20 points and 11 rebounds. It marks his first double-double at UK; and the seventh of his career.
- Jasper Johnson recorded seven assists, which marks the most assists by a Wildcat this season. He also had eight points.
