VolleyCats defeat Letcher Central to Advance.

Breathitt did what very few have been able to do the last decade and a half, defeat the Letcher Central Lady Cougars in the 14th Region Tournament. Since becoming a school in 2005, Letcher Central had only lost one match in the Regional Tournament in those 14 years. I will repeat that, one match!
Breathitt, behind the power of hitters Senior Kaileigh Brown and Adreonnna Schutz, was able to climb the mountain very few have climbed and subdue the Lady Cougars Wednesday night in four sets, (25-17, 25-23, 25-27, 25-12).
Breathitt will face Powell County, who defeated Leslie in four sets, in the Final, set for first serve at 7:00 PM in Irvine.
