With the 180th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Bengals turned their focus toward the offensive line. The Bengals allowed nearly 50 sacks last season and with the face of the franchise rolling into town this fall, that number needs to drop.
Adeniji is a Kansas-product that was tabbed first-team All-Big 12 in 2019. The 6-foot-4 300 lb. tackle finished his collegiate career with 48 consecutive starts. Though at tackle at Kansas, Adeniji is projected to possibly kick inside to guard in the NFL. NFL.com has him listed at guard in their prospect guide.
The Bengals have done a good job of addressing each significant position of need in the draft thus far. It will be interesting to see what move they make in round 7.
