1978 Kentucky Miss Basketball presented with Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame Framed Collage
JACKSON – February 20, 2020
Breathitt County honored all-time great Irene Moore tonight in a pregame ceremony. Moore was inducted into the Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019, and the Hall of Fame has given the framed collage of Irene from the induction for Breathitt to display.
Irene was honored at mid-court as all of her many accomplishments were detailed to the crowd.
A display of Moore memorability from the Breathitt County Museum was set up on on the stage of the Fairce O. Woods Coliseum for the evening.
