Breathitt County lit up the bleacher end basket net at the Fairce O. Woods Coliseum on Tuesday Night as the Bobcats put up 54 first half points on Buckhorn in a 14th Region matchup. The Bobcats coasted to a 32 point win, 83-51 to improve their record in the year to 5-1.

1st QUARTER
Luke Bellamy lit the Bobcat fire in the first splashing three 3-pointers in the quarter and totalling 11. Christian Collins was the offense for Buckhorn with eight of the Wildcat 11. All five Bobcat starters scored in the quarter, and at the end of one, Breathitt led 20-11.
2nd QUARTER
The Second belonged to Bobcat Freshman Austin Sperry as he went on the attack for 14 in the period. Junior Jaylen Turner had seven going four of four from the line, and Isaac Bellamy checked in with five. Colton Southwood had six for Buckhorn. The Bobcats scored 34 in period stretching their lead to 28 by the half, 54-26.
3rd QUARTER
The Third saw Breathitt continue to extend the lead behind seven more from Turner, six from Tyler Christy and five more for Luke Bellamy, establishing his team-high 19 on the game. Collins scored nine of his game-high 21. End of the Third, Breathitt 76 – Buckhorn 40.
4th QUARTER
Both teams played their reserves in the Fourth with Jaxon Hamilton, Ben Wooton and Matt Capalot scoring for Breathitt. Edgar Sandlin and Jayce Brown scored for Buckhorn.
