What a night it was for BBN. The Cats won 85-77 over No. 15 Arkansas and head coach John Calipari. UK bounced back with a statement from its 80-55 loss at No. 18 Vanderbilt earlier in the week.
It was a complete game for UK against the Razorbacks as no double-digit comeback was needed tonight. Arkansas’ largest lead was just four points, while Kentucky led by as many as 13 points in the first half. UK led for 34:07, while only trailing for 3:53.
Otega Oweh led all scorers with 24 points, while going 9-of-12 from the floor. He also tallied eight rebounds, which was tied for the most by any player. He was one of three players to register a game-leading three assists.
Collin Chandler tallied 13 points in just 23 minutes of playing time. Malachi Moreno recorded 11 points and seven rebounds.
Trent Noah gave UK some big minutes off the bench as he registered nine points and seven rebounds in 19 minutes. Andrija Jelavic scored seven points off 3-of-4 shooting from the field in 13 minutes.
The Cats are now 15-7 (6-3 SEC) on the season, while Arkansas is 16-6 (6-3 SEC.) Up next for Kentucky is a home game against Oklahoma on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 9:00 p.m.
