The issue of Fall High School sports in Kentucky seems to not yet be decided. Earlier today, Adam Wells, the Sports Anchor for WPSD in Paducah, tweeted the following, pursuant to an unnamed source.
BREAKING: I have been told by a very reliable source that the Kentucky Department of Education will be holding a specially called meeting Friday to discuss the KHSAA’s decision to play fall sports. Source said the KDE is aiming to overturn the decision to play.

Here is the agenda for Friday, with the meeting set to be held by teleconference at Noon. High contact sports of Football and Volleyball are of particular interest as specifically referenced in the last agenda item.
