Wildcats, Tigers to compete at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network
EXINGTON, Ky. – Following its first Southeastern Conference loss of the season last week, No. 13 Kentucky (5-2, 2-1 SEC) looks to bounce back at No. 17 Auburn (3-4, 2-2 SEC) on Friday at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
The Wildcats enter Friday with a 1-1 record on the road, including a 1-0 mark in league play. Kentucky dropped a 197.800-196.600 decision to No. 2 Florida in its last outing at Memorial Coliseum, completing a string of four straight 196-point performances. Not only was the loss the Cats’ first to a conference foe, it was the first meet in which senior All-American Mollie Korth did not earn an outright all-around title.
Auburn welcomes Kentucky on the heels of a 197.425-196.350 loss at then-No. 13 Georgia last Sunday. Both the Tigers and Wildcats have a home win over Missouri this season.
Auburn leads the all-time head-to-head series with Kentucky by a 43-41 advantage, including a 196.125-196.000 victory in Lexington last season.
