The second race of NASCAR Series Playoff’s Round of 8 roars to the Texas Motor Speedway for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 scheduled for Sunday with race completed Wednesday October 28, 2020.

Located in the Northeast corner of Texas in the city of Fort Worth, Texas Motor Speedway is very similar in layout to Charlotte Motor Speedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway in being a 1.5-mile quad-oval with 24-degree banking in the turns. Opening since 1996, Cup drivers battle 334 laps to earn the coveted Cowboy Hat and a pair of Six Shooters as champion of the event.

The Autotrader EchoPark Automotive at Texas began Sunday as scheduled. Unfortunately, with just 52 of 334 laps being completed, mist and drizzle forced the event to be red-flagged. Rain and mist subsequently ended attempts on Monday and Tuesday to continue the race. The stated race pushed forward until Wednesday afternoon, opening an available window for racing.
