HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – June 27, 2020 – Brendon D. Miller
Weston Miller continued his mastery of the U.S. Kids West Virginia Spring Golf Tour on Saturday by carding a 73 for his fourth consecutive medalist honors. Weston navigated the Esquire Course outside Huntington for the four shot victory and an undefeated season in the 13-14 age division.
In the process, Weston was named the Player of the Year on the Spring Tour for also the fourth consecutive year. What a run.
Success on the West Virgina Tour and scoring requirements results in Weston qualifying for larger regional and world competitions. Without a doubt, the Mountaineer State has been so good for Weston.
The month of July will be filled with road trips and tournament action. On July 4-5 Weston will tee it up in the 13-14 division at Pinehurst No. 7 in the Red, White & Blue Invitational. The field will include 72 players from throughout the country and past world champions.
Weston will be back in the Bluegrass on July 11-12 as the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour returns to UK’s Big Blue Course outside Lexington. Weston will be looking to better his only loss of the year as he lost in a playoff at the Big Blue earlier in the year.
July 23-25 Weston will return to Pinehurst for his fourth U.S. Kids Golf World Championship. The U.S. Kids flagship event where approximately 150 talented 13-year old golfers from across the globe will compete at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club.
Safe travels and best wishes to Weston and Terry from BSN!!
