Wolfe County and Knott Central each earned their way into a 14th Region rematch in the Finals on Wednesday Night. 55th District Champion Wolfe County dispatched Letcher Central in straight sets in Campton (25-18, 25-5, 25-15), while 56th District Champion Knott Central advanced, also in straight sets, (25-19, 28-26, 25-18) over Powell County in Stanton.
The two met earlier in the year in the 14th Region All A Final with Wolfe taking the title 2-0 (25-23, 25-20) and then advancing to the All A Semi-Finals.
It is interesting that the All A Final loss by Knott to Wolfe, was Knott’s only loss of the season, and only two sets that the Patriots have lost all season. Both teams have won both their matches in the Regional Tournament in straight sets 3-0.

The game will be held at the neutral site of J.B. Goff Gymnasium on the campus of Jackson City School and tickets are available only from the athletic departments of each school.
