The Cats outscored No. 22 St. John’s by 19 points in the second half to win the game 78-66.

  • Following Saturday’s win, UK is now 73-33 all-time in the Atlanta metro area. That includes a 2-0 record in the CBS Sports Classic.
  • For the first time in UK history, the CATS overcame a halftime deficit of at least seven points in consecutive games to win. They won each game by 12 points.
  • This marks the ninth win for Mark Pope against an AP Top 25 team as UK’s head coach.
  • Kentucky is now 15-0 under Pope when holding the opponent to 66 points or less.
  • UK won the rebounding battle 39-28, which makes Kentucky 7-1 this season when outrebounding the opponent.
