14th Region Semi-Finals Set, to be Streamed on BSN!!

All Four District Champions in Semi-Final Showdowns

IRVINE – October 30, 2019

The Regional Semi-Final spots have been filled and ready for action tonight at Estill County High School.

In the first match, 56th District Champion, the Powell County Lady Pirates (25-8) of Coach Ken Jones meet the Champions of the 54th, the Leslie County Eagles, (23-9) lead by Coach Lisa Wilson at 6:00 PM.

In the night cap, 55th District Champion, the Breathitt County VolleyCats (24-9) of Coach Stephen Bowling meet the Champions of the 53rd, the Letcher Central Lady Cougars, (15-9) led by Coach Betty Caudill following the opener.

Letcher Central is vying for their 14th Regional Championship in 15 years and 6th in a row. Letcher has only lost 1 match in the Regional Tournament since becoming a school in 2005.
