Hamlin Cashes in Vegas!

Denny Hamlin Rolls Dice for Vegan Win

LAS VEGAS – March 15, 2026 – Anthony Holbrook

The NASCAR Cup Series rolled to Sin City for the Pennzoil 400 hosted by Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  Located less than 20 miles from Famous Las Vegas Strip, the 1.5-mile Tri-Oval Speedway hosted their first NASCAR Cup event on March 1, 1998.  The Pennzoil 400 offers a scheduled 267 Laps (400 Miles) of excitement for the competitors vying for victory.

Stage 1

Denny Hamlin Stage 1 dominance will be tested by Christopher Bell as the laps diminish.  Christopher Bell cruises past Denny Hamlin for the lead and Stage honors.  Denny may lose a battle but not necessarily the war at Sin City.

It will take 10 laps in the Stage to shake up the Toyota residence at the front.  Chevrolets led by the charge of Larson, Elliott and Byron enters the equation.

Kyle Larson welcomes teammate William Byron’s bump draft to lead the field.

Larson’s real estate will also be opposed as William Byron emerges into Larson’s rear mirror.  William Byron goes “All In” sharpshooting past Kyle Larson utilizing the Dogleg apron section of the track.

With few Caution flags, race teams schedule green pit stops to opportune their chances to rotate to the lead.

Kyle Larson rediscovers the outside lane battling Byron for lead. 

To Larson’s dismay, Green Flag Pit stops playing an intricate factor on the race outcome.

Denny Hamlin flawless green flag pit stop permits an emotional Denny Hamlin to check off his first points race of the 2026 Championship campaign.
