NASCAR Cup Series locates to Bristol Motor Speedway, formerly known as Bristol International Raceway and Bristol Raceway, located in Bristol, Tennessee. Nestled in the heart of the Appalachia the distinctive short track billed as the “World’s Fastest Half Mile“ was constructed in 1960 and hosted its first NASCAR race on July 30, 1961. Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race will be the final chance for 12 eligible drivers to advance to the Round of 8 ranking.
Laying down a qualifying lap of 15.142 and 15.183, Teammates Alex Bowman and Kyle Larson rolled the Bass Pro Shops Night Races’ gladiators to green from their front row seats, respectfully.

Kyle Larson waited patiently to make a move on race leader Alex Bowman employing the top lane to pocket the lead on Lap 33. Kyle Larson wins Stage 1 in a dominating fashion at BMS.

Christopher Bell’s opportunity to overtake Kyle Larson fell short as Larson traded paint while defending his location as Stage 2 commenced.
Wood Brothers’ Harrison Burton aspiration to progress in the Championship Playoffs was interrupted by a power steering mechanical issue which eliminated any chance of Harrison to dance in the Round of Eight.
Seven circuits remaining in Stage 2 completion finds Joey Logano spinning out, inviting a Final Caution Flag to determine the Stage 2 victor.
Kyle Larson protects his position warding off opposition to win back-to-back Stage’ Checkers at Thunder Valley.

Retiring Nascar Driver Martin Truex Jr. attempt to reel in Kyle Larson fails as the final Stage commences. Kyle Larson exploiting the outside lane has no issue to overtake the season veteran Truex Jr.
Unfortunately, Martin Truex Jr.’s last trip at Thunder Valley will be forced to the tail of the field to accommodate Truex Jr. pit speeding ticket. This occurrence will also hamper any prosperous progression and eliminates Martin Truex Jr. from the Round of Eight.
Counting 50 scheduled Laps remaining Chase Elliott will be Kyle Larson’s final challenger for the race lead.
Elliott, like the previous adversaries, struggle to surpass Kyle Larson’s dominated performance.
