Tyler Reddick ‘Rides the Rim’ to the Championship 4 at Homestead!

The NASCAR Cup Series swing to the South Beaches of the Sunshine State Sunday, October 27, 2024, for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 hosted by Homestead-Miami Speedway,

The 1.5-mile track of Homestead-Miami Speedway is set to host race number two of three in the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Championship Playoffs.

Stage 1

Tyler Reddick unloads a fast hotrod accelerating to the front as Stage 1 opens.   As race teams prepare for refreshment 35 Stage laps remaining; a slow green flag pit stop frustrates and forfeits the race lead from playoff contender Reddick.

Teammate Bubba Wallace relinquishes his top position to Tyler Reddicks advancement less than 25 laps of Stage completion.

Holding off approaching danger, Reddick collects valuable Stage 1 points with checkered flag at Miami.

Denny Hamlin utilizes newer tires catapulting his chances to contend for a Championship.  Hamlin 15 lap fresher Goodyears’ confronts race leader Chase Elliott and resumes on top of the leader board.  Hamlin cruises to Stage 2 honors with strategic tire strategy at Homestead.
