All “A” Classic State Tournament to be Delayed Due to Weather

RICHMOND – February 14, 2021

The All “A” Classic statewide basketball tournament will be delayed until at least Tuesday afternoon.  The All “A” Classic Board put out a release this morning regarding the tournament and the impending winter weather which will hit Kentucky:

STATEMENT FROM ALL “A” CLASSIC BOARD:
We believe after consultation with EKU, Richmond, and the National Weather Service that this delay is necessary.  We will continue to monitor the situation and keep open communication with each of you.  We will evaluate the situation Monday afternoon at 2:00 then again on Tuesday morning at 9:00.  We will send you updated information at that time.

All game times will be altered and will not necessarily be played in the order they were originally scheduled.  The All “A” board will let schools know as soon as times can be determined.  This delay will necessitate that both the semi-finals and finals be played on Sunday, Feb 21^st.
