Denny Hamlin Delivers the Checkers at Thunder Valley

Pole Sitter Denny Hamlin – Driver of the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Toyota patiently maneuvered his Camry around Matt Benabetto – Driver of the No. 95 Toyota in the closing laps to win at Bristol.

 Denny Hamlin fought back from a multiple of obstacles during the night race, from an on-track alteration and a vibrating wheel that caused a green flag pit stop.  After suffering laps down, Denny Hamlin charged back to the front, piloting the Joe Gibbs Toyota through traffic before finally passing Dibenedetto for the lead and win with only 12 laps to go.

Matt DiBenedetto, was dishearted after achieving his career-best finish in the consequence of learning early this week that he would be released from No. 95 Leavine Family Racing Toyota next year.
