First home field home run in history of Wolfe Softball program

CAMPTON – May 9, 2019 – Brendon D. Miller

Wolfe Junior Kallie Brown went yard for the first ever over-the-fence home home run in the history of the Lady Wolves program, on Thursday Night. Wolfe County has been playing fast-pitch since 1998, and been playing at the Wolfe County Sports Complex field since 2006, but despite their success as a program had never had a player take one over the fence in a game in Campton.

That streak ended in the bottom of the 2nd when Brown took a 1-2 pitch and deposited same over the left field fence. Sarah Smith was on 1st, and the homer put the Lady Wolves up 4-0 at the time. The Lady Wolves went on to defeat Bryan Station 6-4.

Congratulations to Kallie!!!!!
