Five Lady Eagles hit double figures led by Iris Napier with 24

Breathitt County hit the road on Monday Night to take on Leslie County afer both were All “A” Classic Semi-Finalist over the weekend. The Lady Bobcats were 2-1 entering the game and the Lady Eagles were 1-1. Leslie took and early lead and maintained that lead for the 23 point win.
1st QUARTER Leslie put up 24 in the quarter with Baylee Davidson leading the way with seven points. Emily Bowling knocked down a 3-pointer and had six for the Eagles. Riley Bush and Naoma Noble each had four for the Breathitt. At the end of the Quarter, Leslie led 24-11.
2nd QUARTER Iris Napier had ten of her Lady Eagle high 24 in the quarter connecting on six of six from the line. Adreonna Shutz had nine in the quarter and and Jerican Neace hit a three and had five for the LadyCats. At the half, the Leslie led by 20, 47-27.
3rd QUARTER Napier and Schutz continued their scoring battle in the quarter with Napier scoring nine and Schutz eight. End of the third, Leslie had extended their lead to 68-42.
4th QUARTER Schutz added six more to her LadyCat high 24 in the quarter and Riley Bush added five. Breathitt outscored Leslie 15-12 in the quartet, however, the Lady Eagles were able to close out the game with the final score being 80-57.
