Quarterback takeaways
Tyler Shough once again put on an absolute show today. He went 21-33 with 349 yards and 2 touchdowns. His ability to deliver those deep passes really is special. His decision making is what separates him from the ordinary quarterback he picked apart this defense and the scoreboard shows that.

Running back takeaways
This running back room is incredible. The leading rusher of the day was Maurice Turner with 12 attempts and 60 yards with 1 touchdown. What makes this running back room so dominant is their depth in the position. Louisville had 5 rushing touchdowns all scored by different Running backs. The entire group rushed for 234 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Defense Takeaways
The defense today had a few hiccups in the first half. The defense struggled with a dual threat quarterback but coming out of the half the defense was able to answer back and held Jax State scoreless for the rest of the game. The stand out defensive player was Lb Stanquan Clark he led the defense in tackles with 9 total 6 solo and 3 assisted.

On Saturday September 21 the Louisville Cardinals will be back at L&N Stadium hosting the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
