UK was dominated by No. 14 Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Saturday. The Cats fell short 89-74.

Kentucky trailed for 36:11 the game, while leading for just 1:20. The Crimson Tide led by as many as 21 points in the first half.

Alabama’s Aden Holloway had a sensational performance with 26 points and five assists, which led all players in both categories. He was 6-of-8 from 3-PT range as he registered the most made triples in the matchup.

Otega Oweh led UK in scoring with 22 points, while joining Mo Dioubate with a team-leading eight rebounds.

Jaland Lowe tallied 21 points. Lowe and Oweh were each 8-of-16 from the floor.

The Cats are now 9-5 (0-1 SEC) this season, while Alabama is 11-3 (1-0 SEC.)
