Cats to compete in five regular season meets televised on ESPN linear networks
LEXINGTON, Ky. – After unveiling home tilts with Missouri, NC State, North Carolina, Lindenwood, Florida, Georgia and Illinois, the Kentucky Wildcats gymnastics team revealed its complete 2020 schedule with start times on Monday.
The full 11-meet regular season slate includes five contests televised on ESPN linear networks.
After commencing the season on the road at Utah on Friday, Jan. 3 at 8 p.m. ET, Kentucky’s home-opening Excite Night versus Missouri at Rupp Arena will kick off “Friday Night Heights” coverage on SEC Network on Jan. 10 at 6 p.m.
Each of Kentucky’s next four road trips will also be shown on television. The Cats’ meetings with Arkansas (Friday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m.), Auburn (Friday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.) and Alabama (Friday, Feb. 28 at 8:30 p.m.) will each be aired live on SEC Network, while their matchup with LSU (Sunday, Feb. 16 at 3 p.m.) will be shown on delay that same night at 8 p.m. on ESPNU.
Kentucky will wrap up the regular season at West Virginia on Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m. The Southeastern Conference Championship will take place on Saturday, March 21, televised on SEC Network.
