with a victory Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series descended to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Sunday Sept. 15th for the South Point 400 Hotel and Casino 400 kicking off the 2019 post season playoffs.

deficit to gain valuable Stage points with a Stage 1 win.

in the final stage, Martin Truex Jr.
set his sights on Kevin Harvick, and
eventually made the pass on the outside to collect the win. Harvick
who was additionally held up by traffic, surrendered the lead to the 2017
Monster Cup Champion and was awarded an automatic second-round playoff spot.
