Bluegrass Sports Nation to bring Full Coverage of Tourney

Both the 2019 55th District Boys and Girls Championships will be decided this week as games will be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Jackson City School in Jackson, and the Boys and Girls Championship games will take place on Thursday and Friday at Wolfe County High School in Campton with all games slated to begin at 7:00 PM.
The Boys Tournament will begin Monday with the sole semi-final between #2 Seed Wolfe County (9-19) and #3 Seed Jackson City (7-20). The winner will advance to take on District #1 Seed Breathitt County (19-9) in the Championship Game on Thursday Night.
The Girls Tournament gets going on Tuesday with #1 Seed Wolfe County (21-9) taking on #4 Seed Riverside Christian (13-17), and then continues on Wednesday as #2 Seed Breathitt County (16-12) takes on #3 Seed Jackson City (12-15). The winners of each semi-final meet on Friday Night for the title.
Both Tournament champions (girls and boys) and the runner-up, will each advance to the 14th Region Tournament(s) to be held next week.
Bluegrass Sports Nation will have full coverage of each game (and each team) of the tournament with our now standard coverage of pregame Coach interviews, quarterly score updates, picture galleries of the action, and post game press conferences for each team.
