Breathitt Opens Season with Win Against Lee

Riley Bush leads Lady Cats with 15

BEATTYVILLE – November 29, 2022 – Brendon D. Miller

Breathitt kicked off the season on the road with a 52-29 win agains the Lady Kats of Lee County. Defense was the name of the game for the Lady Cats in this one as they held Lee County to only a basket in the first quarter and to six points at the half.

1st Quarter
Emily Neace hit a three pointer and had five in the quarter and Maddie Haddix netted a three.

2nd Quarter
Riley Bush had three buckets for six while Jerrice Neace had four. Preslee Cundiff had all four of Lee’s points.

3rd Quarter
Breathitt had a three pointer each from Jerrica and Emily Neace. Lee put up 65% of their points for the game as Cundiff added six and Kaley White had all eight of her points.

4th Quarter
Breathitt closed out the game behind seven from Bush and Emily Neace hit her fourth three-pointer of the game.
