RICHMOND, Ky. – The 2018 EKU Basketball Halloween Hoopfest will be held Wednesday, October 24 at Alumni Coliseum.
The Halloween component to the night’s festivities will begin in the evening, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. on the concourse level near the natatorium. Inflatables will be available in the Fred Darling Auxiliary Gym, as well as games and candy provided by the EKU Parks and Recreation department. Free pizza will also be available while supplies last.
All children are encouraged to wear costumes, as there will be a kids’ costume parade on the main floor of Alumni Coliseum.
The official Hoopfest program will begin at 6:00 p.m., with opening performances by the EKU cheer and dance teams.
Head coaches Chrissy Roberts and A.W. Hamilton will then introduce their teams, followed by Maroon vs. White scrimmages.
Free EKU Hoopfest T-shirts will be distributed at the conclusion of the event.
