Denny Hamlin wins his 7th rophy at Pocono Raceway winning the High Point 400 under Cautio

The NASCAR Cup Series hikes to the Mountains of Pennsylvania July 24, 2022 for the High Point 400 hosted by Pocono Raceway. The 50th NASCAR Cup race with the continued di latest Next Gen cars challenge the 2.5-mile-long track.

Out of control in Turn 3 Alex Bowman invites the yellow flag relinquishing his advancing position of 3rd place.
As the sand in the hourglass become less than 7 laps remaining, Denny Hamlin runs High and Wide into Turn 1 pancaking Kyle Larson’s Hendrick Bowtie into the barrier wall.
Showing displeasure/ retaliation, Kyle Larson intentionally door bumps Hamlin upon the upcoming Caution Flag slow down lap.
Duce trips around the 2.5 mile remaining, Ryan Preece is bolted among oncoming traffic. Preece attempts to refire, failed with lap leaders approaching. The yellow flag slows down and wards off danger to Preece’s car sitting helplessly.
Hamlin is in Heaven collecting his 7th Trophy at Long Pond winning the High Point 400 under Caution.
