Larson Dominates Xfinity SciAps 300

Kyle Larson warms up for Sunday with commanding performance in Xfinity race

BRISTOL – April 12, 2025 – Anthony Holbrook

NASCAR Cup Series invades Bristol Motor Speedway, formerly known as Bristol International Raceway and Bristol Raceway, located in Bristol, Tennessee. The distinctive short track billed as the “World’s Fastest Half-Mile “was constructed in 1960 and hosted its first NASCAR race on July 30, 1961. Bristol Motor Speedway’s noted features include exclusive steep banking, combined with an all-concrete surface, two pit roads, and Coliseum-like seating.

Kyle Larson Turning a Qualifying Lap of 15.194 sec will have the best view of the green flag for the annual running of the SciAps 300.

SciAps 300 – Stage 1 Recap

Pole Sitter Kyle Larson unloads a fast hotrod to open the beginning stage.  His presence at the front will be tested as Larson extends his marginal lead of 2 seconds over Justin Allgaier with 30 to conclude Stage 1.

Race Leader Larson guides majority of field for pit services to reload for the closing Stage laps. 

Sam Mayer and Ryan Sieg opts out of pit attention taking control of the pace in the final laps.

Kyle Larson separates himself from the field utilizing preferred lane lines while avoiding confrontation.

Kyle Larson’s authority exhibited, collecting all the marbles in Stage 2.

Justin Allgaier utilizes inside lane to battle Larson for the final and determining Stage.  Allgaier profits return to the front while Larson covers Justin’s rear view mirror view.

A Mason Massey caution flag with less than 90 laps remaining slows down and tightens the field for a final attempt to overtake race control. Justin’s stint at the front will be attested and relinquished as Kyle Larson return to the front is evident.

An epic exhibition of short track racing domination revealed as Larson extends his lead over Allgaier with only lap traffic to tend with.

No substitute for experience as Larson slices through challengers enroute to Checkers at Thunder Valley.
