The NASCAR Cup Series Playoff Round of 8 unloads at the Texas Motor Speedway hosting the opening race in the Round of 8 for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500.
The Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 – Recap:
Kyle Larson checked off 256 of 334 laps at the 1 1/2-mile track adding his eighth win 2021 NASCAR season. Larson controlled the final 218 laps, guarding the front line through seven restarts in the final stage that included three late after incidents involving major playoff contenders: Joey Logano Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr.
With two trips around the corral remaining a draft bump from playoff contender Brad Keselowski, pushed Larson ahead of teammate William Byron to collect the checkers and iconic six shooters.
The seven remaining playoff contender vacate the Lone Star State with only two more attempts to advance for a title shot, as Kansas and Martinsville on schedule before the NASCAR Championship 4 finale.
