Owsley Girls Out of Food City WYMT Mountain Classic – Wolfe Boys Game Time Moved Up

The Owsley County Lady Owls have had to drop out of the WYMT Mountain Classic. As a result, the Owsley County and Knott County Central matchup scheduled for tonight is canceled. Owsley officials relate the situation is COVID related and there is a “quarantine issue.” Knott will now advance to the semi-finals to face North Laurel.

WYMT has announced on their website that fans who purchased tickets for the game will receive a refund.

The boys openimg game between Buckhorn and Wolfe County for tonight will still take place, but the start time will move up to 6:00 p.m. instead of 8:30 p.m.

WYMT will stream the game on their website WYMT.com, and BSN will share the stream of Wolfe-Buckhorn on the BSN Facebook Page. BSN will have full photo and print coverage of the game on www.bluegrasssportsnation.com later tonight.
