THREE EKU FOOTBALL ROAD GAMES TO AIR ON ESPN FAMILY OF NETWORKS

ESPN logoRICHMOND, Ky. – Three Eastern Kentucky University football road games will air live on the ESPN family of networks this season.

The season-opener at Purdue on Sept. 3 is scheduled to begin at noon and will be broadcast live on ESPN News. 

The Colonels’ game at Ball State on Sept. 17 will begin at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN3.  Eastern’s Ohio Valley Conference match-up with Tennessee State at Nissan Stadium in Nashville is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.

ESPN3 is ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network, a destination that delivers thousands of exclusive sports events annually.  It is accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and streamed on televisions through Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

The Eastern Kentucky University football program has won two national championships, 21 conference titles, has made 21 playoff appearances and has just one losing record in the last 43 seasons.
