Tyler Reddick wins at Irish Hills in Michigan!

The NASCAR Cup Series Race Teams unloads at Michigan International Speedway’s 2-mile oval Sunday for the annual running of the Firekeepers Casino 400.  As incumbent weather invaded the Irish Hills forcing Nascar to cancel qualifying event. Denny Hamlin and Tyler Reddick awarded front row via Nascar officiating calculating process.   

Mother Natures weather wand waved shortly Sunday, forcing Nascar Officials to postpone the racing venue till Monday morning.

Stage 1

Three laps remaining in Stage 1, Nascar Cup Champ Ryan Blaney utilizes an uncustomary Denny Hamlin’ Caution Flag to position himself to lead the pack in the closing laps.

Blaney boost team’s playoff points ranking with Stage 1 win at Michigan.

Tire issues will hamper Joey Logano, A.J. Almendinger and Todd Gilliand enough to attract a yellow flag. Kyle Bush gambles and refuses pit attention while front runners attend.

Kyle Bush separates himself from track carnage and collects Stage 2 Checkers at MIS.

Final Stage

Crucial pits stop/s with 40 laps of Stage completion, allows race team/s to strategies their final scheduled pit stop. 

Kyle Bush’s 2 tire change option accelerated his Bowtie back to the front, out of pit.  Unfortunately, Bush’s worn tire compound will relinquish his advancement on the track within the upcoming laps.

Twelve trips left around Michigan finds Tyler Reddick recycling from green-flag Pit Service to the front, and has a dog that wants to fight.

A Martin Truex Jr. caution will slow down any hope for the race to be ended in scheduled lap formation inviting 2 Overtimes, subsequently.

Overtime 2, Tyler Reddick receives a welcomed bump to the lead courtesy of Tye Gibbs.  Reddick guards off an approaching William Byron to earn a sentimental Victory in the Irish Hills.

Tyler Reddick dedicates win at MIS to a longtime Friend and Mentor of Late Model Racing Series, Scott Bloomquist who was tragically killed in a single passenger air crash Friday.
