Wolfe County Advances to All-A Semi-Finals

RICHMOND – October 11, 2020

The Wolfe County Lady Wolves headed to the All-A Elite Eight on Saturday with their eyes on a State Title. Wolfe realized the first leg of that goal by defeating Clinton County in the Quarterfinals 3-1. Wolfe came up short in the first set 16-25, but then stormed back to take the final three sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-23).

With the win, the Lady Wolves advanced to the Semi’s where they took on Ballard Memorial from far Western Kentucky in Ballard County. Ballard took the match in straight sets (25-11, 25-17, 25-19).

Wolfe is 10-3 on the season and will face Powell County and Johnson Central this week in the final week of the regular season.
